FAQs
Massage Therapy
What types of Therapeutic Massage do you provide?
I can provide a variety of techniques and often provide a mix of various modalities within a single session. Each session is tailored to the needs of the client, and a consultation is provided in order to assess what the best treatment is. I am trained in traditional Swedish, Deep Tissue, Myofascial, Lymphatic drainage, Tui Na (Chinese Massage), Shiatsu (Japanese Massage), Medical Massage, and Prenatal.
What is the cost of a Massage Session?
Because the session is tailored to you, the client, I charge for time and expertise rather than for specific modalities. And my prices are flat rate.
30 minutes: $65
60 minutes: $115
90 minutes: $160
120 minutes: $200
What does it mean that your prices are flat rate?
An additional gratuity for my services is not expected. My prices were determined with time, expertise and gratuity considered.
Do you offer packages for Massage services?
Yes! I offer pre-paid packages of 6 Massages for 60, 90, and 120 minute time options. This package option offers 10% off the individual session cost
60 minute package: $624
90 minute package: $870
120 minute package: $1098
Do you offer Prenatal Massage?
Yes! Women past 14 weeks of pregnancy benefit greatly from regular massage. In fact, I have a specific prenatal pillow that allows clients well into their 3rd trimester to be face down and face up just the same as when not pregnant. If needed side-lying positions can be used. Generally I only offer 60 or 90 minutes but there is no additional cost. I do just request that you inform me prior to your appointment that you are expecting and how many weeks along you are.

What is Acupuncture?
Acupuncture is a holistic medical system that has evolved over 2000 years. Little has changed since the teachings of the oldest texts, which are still taught and used today, however as disease has evolved Acupuncture and Chinese Medicine has evolved with it. An Acupuncturist will insert fine, sterile, single use needles at specific points on the body. Inserting needles at these points enhances the body’s natural healing and recuperative power by activating the body’s Qi (the Chinese word for the various functions of the body)
What is the cost?
The first visit is a longer time frame and in depth consultation, the cost of which is $160
Follow-up appointments are generally scheduled for 60 minutes, the cost is $95.
How are Acupuncturists Educated?
Acupuncturists undertake an extensive and comprehensive 3-4 year graduate program at a nationally certified school, and must pass a national exam and meet strict guidelines in each state.
